SCANSONIC HD

and High End speaker brand Raidho are homologous Scansonic HD, and share many design concepts with Raidho. Its slim body, coupled with a simple style, can be very body Nordic aesthetic. The price is even more delicious, Scansonic HD with Raidho's design gene has an affordable price, which is a great boon for consumers.

three series,from entryAdvancedoverall layout

Scansonic HD products at this stage are divided into three series. The most entry-level and most affordable L series focuses on the low-budget market with its minimalist and square appearance, cost-effective demands, and complete product line. A total of 8 products in the whole series, not only bookshelves, floor and center, but also wall-mounted speakers and subwoofers, can be called the pioneer of Scansonic HD in the low-price market.

The middle-order M series is also a founder's minimalist style, but the treble is replaced by aluminum with treble, surpassing the L series in terms of specifications and performance. Two floor-to-floor, one bookshelf, one center-mounted and one wall-mounted are also synchronized with two-channel and multi-channel markets.

As for the high-order MB series, it is even closer to High End, leaving hints of homology and common root with Raidho everywhere. Not only does the aluminum belt treble with better performance be included, the box body is changed into a square shape, and the treble wave guide, which is closed back with a circular arc and integrally formed with the front baffle, and the design of slightly tilting back to adjust the time phase of the high and low tones, has the shadow of Raidho. This is arguably the most ambitious series of Scansonic HD, which allows people to buy products close to Raidho's design philosophy at an affordable price. It not only declares the technical and sound aesthetics of the Scansonic HD, but also serves as a springboard for a higher imagination.

The MB series has as many as four floor loudspeakers, including MB2.5 B, MB3.5 B, MB5 B, MB6 B, etc. Among them, MB6 B has as many as 7 monomers, centered on aluminum tape treble and designed in D' Appolito style, which simulates the sound of point sound source. It is slim and slim, but as high as nearly 1.5 meters. It is the flagship work of Scansonic HD. In addition, the MB series also has a center, a bookshelf and a subwoofer. It is also no problem to set up a multi-channel system.

I have written about the M-series floor trumpet M40 Scansonic HD before, my experience is that its thick and full sound completely exceeds our imagination brought by its appearance. Later, the same series of bookshelves M10 was also sent to the editorial department. My colleague Zhiyu was responsible for writing the audition report. He and I agreed: this bookshelf horn can sing loudly, even the louder it is, the fuller it is, and the louder it is, the more balanced it is. In this regard, it is difficult to see such a scenery on a cheap bookshelf horn or on such a small bookshelf horn with only four inches. But Scansonic HD did.

From the M series to the MB series, the span is larger. Taking the same bookshelf horn as an example, the price of M10 we listened to earlier was 30,450 yuan, but this time the price of MB1 B came to 91,260 yuan, which is nearly 100,000 threshold, and this jump is three times. This is what I said earlier. MB series is the most ambitious series of Scansonic HD, which makes you stand in a lower position but reach a high place. Let the beauty on the top be tasted on the bottom.

excellent workmanship,teardrop box

MB1 B is excellent, the corners and edges are neatly finished, and the paint surface is smooth and even without defects. In the end, this is a pair of bookshelf horns that came to nearly 100000 yuan, which is not really cheap. The original factory has three models of black, white and walnut wood grain. I got the white model. The mercerized white circular arc is not only neat and beautiful, but also the circular arc is made to reduce the standing wave in the box as much as possible, which is Raidho's consistent method. The original factory also said that with this design, they can greatly reduce the amount of sound-absorbing material inside the speaker, so as to make the sound dynamic performance better and the low-frequency response more linear. There is also a reinforced structure inside the box to improve the stability of the box and reduce resonance.

The front baffle is a black mercerized surface, and the tweeter is also cleverly integrated on it. The bass reflex hole is located in the front and adopts a flat opening, but there is a circular arc guide at the opening, which expands a horn-shaped fan-shaped opening to help speed up the airflow. The top plate is also specially added with a layer of black carbon fiber board, so as to improve the rigidity of the horn box. The box design alone has drawn a big gap between MB1 B and M series.

aluminum with treble, with carbon fiber woven diaphragm mid-bass

MB1 B is an aluminum belt treble developed by themselves. Kapton and aluminum foil form a sandwich structure and still maintain extremely light quality. The mid-bass monomer is a 5.25-inch carbon fiber woven diaphragm monomer with a tapered die-casting structure without a common dust cover in the center. In order to better control the monomer, the back uses an enlarged magnet, as well as a very low distortion of the spring wave and hanging edge. The original factory said that after 100 hours of curing, the horn will have better performance. The original factory did not use more materials for the splitter, but only emphasized the design of the splitter, which aims to reproduce linear and natural sounds and achieve the same time phase of treble and bass. There is only one set of horn terminals, eliminating the trouble of jumper.

bass is deep and rich, and the treble is bright and dazzling.

is different from my previous impression of M40 and M10. The sound of the M series is thick and full. Obviously, the horn is slim, but it makes a strong sound. Although the treble is made of aluminum tape, it does not make any noise. After listening to it, Zhiyu and I are sure to Scansonic the voice and character of HD low-priced products and have settings that meet market expectations and needs. However, the MB series is different. The mid-bass of MB1 B is still full and thick, but the treble is obviously much brighter, which makes the music energetic, energetic and dazzling. At the same time, it still has the characteristics of rich bass and solid sound in Scansonic HD. In addition to providing the weight that music should have, there is color and brightness. In the performance of pop songs, rock music, jazz, and film soundtrack, the distinct personality is very attractive.

digging details is very powerful, delicate reproduction of human voice texture

MB1 B's aluminum tape has high treble efficiency, which makes it very good at digging out details. When playing recordings of vocal singing, it can delicately reproduce the sound details and sound texture. In "Lo vas a olvidar", Billie Eilish uses a lot of singing with air and guttural sounds, and MB1 B shows the singer's vocal characteristics clearly and distinctly. Whether it is the "boom boom" sound when singing, or the hoarse singing voice brought by the throat trembling, or the appearance of ventilation between phrases, people can hear clearly. The electronic low frequency, which is laid out in the back, has a stable sound line. The low-frequency performance of MB1 B is just like Scansonic HD speakers I know, with a sense of depth and volume beyond volume. Another example is the theme song "No Time to Die" of the soundtrack of the movie "007: Battle of Life and Death". The slow rhythm, slowly moving, gradually stacked accompaniment, hoarse and gloomy singing, with misty and sadness, releases the dramatic tension after incorporating the orchestral soundtrack. Billie Eilish's singing voice is clear and embossed under the depiction of MB1 B. Moreover, the sound field given by MB1 B is open, and Hans Zimmer's soundtrack does not show any petty spirit when played by MB1 B.

freshstage, right in front of you

this aluminum belt treble, is the key to give MB1 B lively personality. In addition to the lively vocals, the live recording also sounds lively. The live performance of the Antonio Forcione Quartet is a good example. In the solo "Heart Beat", the clean tone is played, with a crisp sound, with a little bit of metal hard texture, but it keeps the rich feeling brought by the sound box echo delay. This piece of music shows the transparency and speed of MB1 B in the middle and high pitched segments. As for the "Tears of Joy" song to join the accompaniment, interestingly, in addition to the common drum set and bass, also joined the cello. Music is sometimes pleasant, sometimes passionate, filled with happiness. The sound of the acoustic guitar is gentle and natural, and the Forcione and neat playing shows his natural and unrestrained ease. Percussion gives the song a sense of rhythm and provides a dynamic loudness. This live recording of the song is so vivid that it can be heard on MB1 B.

the unimaginable low frequency, you can go down and get full.

Scansonic HD speakers is also audible on the MB1 B. How strong can the bass be with such a small bookshelf horn? Well, there are certainly shortcomings compared to the floor horn, and far worse than the Wilson Audio Alexia 2 set aside in the audition room. But listen-but the bass of the MB1 B is enough to bring you back from the carelessness and turn your head to look at it from the distraction of your mind. Listening to Nenad Vasilic's The Art of the Balkan Bass album, MB1 B portrays the double bass as nothing less than a small floor-to-ceiling horn. That thickness, that fullness, that depth, that rough gravel string vibration, all impressive. How can such a small horn emit such a rich bass? Listening carefully, the bass of MB1 B is not tight and agile, but with a rather loose feeling, with a soft texture in the elasticity and a little tail dragging behind. It's a bit like adding a subwoofer, then adding a little more subwoofer gain, a little more intersection between the frequency division point and the horn, and using some bumps to create a bass scale beyond the volume.

pull the horn as far as possible and use high power to force momentum

Scansonic HD MB1 B not only has rich and full bass, but also has the ability to show great momentum. When listening to a movie soundtrack like Hans Zimmer, it's wonderful; when listening to rock music or even heavy metal, it's powerful. Generally, in the face of such small speakers, we are afraid of insufficient energy and dare not open the distance between speakers. But MB1 B has no such problems at all. Even if you can follow your own habits, face forward, do toe in slightly, and control the horn spacing within a certain range. However, the real power of Scansonic HD lies in the spacing. The original factory even told you to pull apart as much as possible, regardless of the distance, to pull apart as much as possible, so that the two speakers are close to the side walls on both sides, and then to project the big angle toe in to the listener's shoulder or the position outside the shoulder. This unusual pendulum is not only Raidho's unique pendulum, but also Scansonic HD.

That huge momentum, beyond the size of the momentum, in the "open spacing, bold inward" reached. The voice is strong, full, rich, dynamic undulation and calm, not like a small horn at all. When listening to the human voice and classical chamber music, there is not much feeling, because the essence and characteristics are there. However, after pulling open, the volume is pushed down, and the big stage and momentum are amazing. The "No Time to Die" mentioned earlier is an example. Together with the orchestra, you will know that it is good to pull apart. However, the live performance of Antonio Forcione, after being opened and listened to at a loud volume, is really life. As for Metallica's album of the same name, under such a position, MB1 B shows a hard style of explosive power. This is also why the original factory has proposed to expand the power of such a small horn by more than 50W-because it needs to be pulled open, because it needs to be loud, because it needs to be extraordinary.
